The programme that runs alongside the official Annual Meeting: private dinners, receptions, roundtables, breakfasts and panels hosted by companies, funds, coalitions and governments in hotels, houses and pavilions around the town. For many delegates it is where the week's real work happens.
Usually not. Most side events sit outside the Congress Centre and outside the badge system, which is why so much of the week is accessible to people without one. A minority of events do ask for a badge, and where that is the case the listing says so.
Open and Free events admit anyone. Registration and Application events want your details in advance and may decline. Members events are for a specific community. Invitation-only rooms are exactly that. Livestream events can be watched remotely. Fully booked means the room has closed.
