Accepted methods, when you are charged, and how your card is kept safe.
Sending a booking request or an enquiry costs nothing and charges nothing. You only pay once we have accepted a booking and confirmed the price. Last updated 6 October 2026.
A request that is accepted is held for you for a short window so you can pay; if it is not paid in that window it lapses and nothing is charged.
Most bookings are paid securely by card on a hosted payment page. We also accept bank transfer against a pro-forma invoice for stays, where the booking is confirmed once the transfer arrives.
Concierge requests — transfers, cars, tables and the like — are paid by card when you approve the price, or on the terms stated in your quote.
Prices are shown and charged in Swiss francs (CHF) unless a proposal states otherwise. If your bank account is in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add its own fee.
Card payments are handled by our payment provider on their own secure pages. We never see or store your full card number: your card details go straight to the provider, and we receive only a confirmation that the payment succeeded.
Your bank may ask you to confirm a payment (3-D Secure) before it goes through.
Some stays carry a refundable security deposit. Where it is taken as a card hold, we save your card for that hold only and place the hold the day before arrival; it is released a few days after checkout. A hold is not a charge. How deposits are released or, in a damage claim, captured is set out under refunds.
Once a stay is paid you can download a receipt and invoice from the booking in your account, and a credit note is issued if anything is later refunded. Swiss VAT is shown where it applies.
Refunds and cancellations are explained at https://davosevents.co/refunds. Any question about a payment or charge: write to hello@davosevents.co quoting your booking reference, or open a help case from the booking.
